Founded in 2020, Future Teens of Medicine is an organization dedicated to raising awareness amongst younger generations of global health issues/news, uniting teens interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, and creating an inclusive platform for involvement and expression.

We fully recognize the multidimensionality of medicine and its subsectors and aim to provide easily accessible, global, and multi-perspective health-based news coverage directed towards younger students or individuals seeking engagement.

GENERAL INFORMATION
After long consideration, Future Teens of Medicine is broadening its horizons through the commencement FTOM Times.
FTOM Times will function as a monthly digital newspaper or magazine consisting of a composition of articles discussing global health concerns and news around the world.
Every month FTOM members will have the opportunity to apply for a temporary position in assisting with the creation of the newsletters if they are interested.
More information regarding FTOM Times and this month's application process will be released shortly!
Future Teens of Medicine will also be re-introducing the International Buddy Program. The International Buddy Program is a pen-pal initiative created to give all active FTOM members the opportunity to connect on a more personal level. Our goal is to not only match you with a friend but someone who can support and motivate you in your academic endeavors. It is our hope that you and your buddy will act as a support system for each other within Future Teens of Medicine.

How can I join?
We do require that you must be between the age range of 12-19 to apply to Future Teens of Medicine.
While the FTOM team is based in the USA we are a global organization and encourage all those interested to apply regardless of your location. ​

Once you've filled out an application we will review your responses and if accepted you will receive an email from us in a maximum of 2 weeks with further instructions.
